Anni Luur Fox

DANCER, CHOREOGRAPHER

Anni was born into a family which owned an old inn on their farm situated at a crossroads in southern Estonia. They were all performers entertaining travellers as well as locals at community events.  Classical ballet training commenced in Germany and continued in Australia with Max Collis and Lesley White (Royal Ballet). The most inspirational creator of modern dance was Elizabeth Dalman, founder of Australian Dance Theatre in 1965 and later, Dance Excentrix in 1986. Anni worked and performed with Elizabeth to mount ‘Scangiarusca’ in Crafers Quarry with the Adelaide Hills community in 1988. She is currently a performing member of the Arts Excentrix Inc dance group. Her career as a choreographer includes sixteen musicals for Concordia College, various theatre companies and SA community organisations.
