Expressions Project

During 2006 and into early 2007 Arts Excentrix, with funding from the South Australian Government through the Adult Community Education (ACE) board,  mounted a major regional Arts learning and presentation project called Expressions. Workshops were provided in the Fleurieu, Murray Mallee and Adelaide Hills regions in a diverse range of arts practice including silk painting, story telling, song writing, percussion and ceramics. These workshops culminated in two Events. The first was an Exhibition and Performance at the Hahndorf Academy for the Fringe Festival in 2007 and the second was a similar event later November of that year at the Murray Bridge Regional Gallery. This project proved highly successful and brought participants from across the regions together to celebrate and to share their achievements .
